On July 6, 2023, the Lewiston Youth Advisory Council (LYAC) provided lemonade to folks who stopped at The Store Next Door, 145 Birch Street, Lewiston to donate school supplies for homeless youth. What wonderful donations! From LL Bean backpacks to binders, The Store Next Door team was very appreciative. Joel Morse, Operations Manager, said that last year, they assisted 330 homeless youth and an additional 1,200 at-risk youth. LYAC was happy to contribute and
thanked all who donated. This was the last community engagement of the July 2022 - July 2023 LYAC, and they wanted to do their part in helping Lewiston youth who are in need. To donate to the Store Next Door in Lewiston, contact Jamie Caouette at
