Mental Health Outreach During COVID

During the COVID pandemic, LYAC has been concerned about the mental health of community residents due to safety restrictions, isolation, and schedule interruptions . . . and decided to do something about it!

TEEN SUPPORT AMIDST COVID VIDEOS

The Lewiston Youth Advisory Council was asked by the Lewiston Area Public Health Committee to consider filming videos that would speak to their youth peers amidst COVID.  LYAC, concerned about their peers as well, jumped on the suggestion. As videos are filmed, they will be posted below.

PHOTOVOICE PROJECT WITH HEALTHY ANDROSCOGGIN

12/15/20 Update:  LYAC is working with Healthy Androscoggin on a PHOTOVOICE PROJECT; they are assembling meaningful pictures and putting narratives with each photo . . . to speak to what people may be going through and to offer hope and encouragement.  Ways to exhibit the work in a safe fashion will be decided as the project moves forward.
