Request for Public Comment – Environmental Assessment – Land and Water Conservation Fund Land Replacement -- 325 Alfred A. Plourde Parkway and 645 Webster Street to Replace 198 Lincoln and 70 Cedar Street Property.
 
The City of Lewiston is seeking public comments regarding an Environmental Assessment, as required by the National Park Service (NPS), of a replacement outdoor recreation area located at 325 Alfred A. Plourde Parkway and 645 Webster Street.  This parcel will replace prior Land and Water Conservation Fund Act (LWCF) Section 6(f) recreational property located at 198 Lincoln and 70 Cedar Street that has been sold by the City and subsequently converted to other uses.  Public comment on the Environmental Assessment for this replacement parcel is being sought.  Copies of the Environmental Assessment may be viewed at the City of Lewiston City Hall, City Clerk's Office, 27 Pine Street, Lewiston and the Reference Department at the Lewiston Public Library at 200 Lisbon Street.  The Environmental Assessment may also be viewed on the City of Lewiston web page at: http://www.lewistonmaine.gov/assessment18
