“Lewiston is the best place to do business in Maine, with affordable opportunity,” noted Craig Tribuno of Davinci’s as a member of the “Why I Do Business in Lewiston” business panel at today’s Celebrating Lewiston event hosted by the Lewiston Youth Advisory Council (LYAC). He was joined by Peter Geiger of Geiger and Shivam Kumar of Mother India who also shared the many opportunities to grow and evolve their businesses by calling Lewiston home.
ONE OF LEWISTON’S BUSINESSES shined brightly today, as Auburn Savings Bank was announced as the sponsor of the field at event site Mike McGraw Park; that sponsorship will maintain, support, promote, and beautify the field for years to come! William Tracy, President/CEO of Auburn Savings, was on hand and enthusiastically encouraged LYAC—amidst extreme heat—as they finished up the day’s activities of showcasing Lewiston!
From cultural dance, musical performances, a drumming extravaganza, historic presentations, I LOVE LEWISTON selfie backdrop, Lewiston logo positive comment posts, the Lewiston Career Center, face painting, dunk tank, Lewiston Library children’s activities, the Good Food Bus, the Bakery Barn, the Colisee, The Sanctuary family yoga, and more, it was a valiant undertaking to cheerlead our city! Mayor Carl Sheline, Councilor Rick LaChapelle, Councilor Linda Scott, Councilor Robert McCarthy, Councilor Scott Harriman, Councilor Stephanie Gelinas, and Council President Lee Clement were also on hand to interact with constituents and to support LYAC! Also, Corrie Brown was the winner of the Lewiston Scavenger Hunt! Go, Lewiston!
